India hails Trump’s Gaza peace plan

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, India hailed the new initiative presented by US President Donald Trump, which aims to end the Gaza conflict. India voiced its hope that "all concerned will come together" and "support this effort to end conflict and secure peace."

Narendra Modi, the PM of India, posted on X platform “we welcome President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict.”

He stated that it gives “a viable pathway to long term and sustainable peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people, as also for the larger West Asian region.”
He also wrote “we hope that all concerned will come together behind President Trump’s initiative and support this effort to end conflict and secure peace.”

On Munday, during a press conference in Washington Trump highlighted main points of his Gaza truce plan with Benjamin Netanyahu. The plan contains the freedom of Israeli captives and the demilitarization of Hamas.
